bmi cargo will decrease its fuel surcharge from Monday 22 December 2008 to
GBP 0.40 per kilo
EUR 0.60 per kilo
USD 0.60 per kilo
This decrease is as a result of the reduction in aviation fuel. The methodology used is based on the fuel price index showing the average price of aviation fuel on the world’s five major spot markets.
The fuel surcharge applies to all cargo and courier shipments on the bmi network and is based on ‘actual’ weights. The value should be inserted separately on the air waybill and designated by the code FSC in the ‘other charges’ box.
In line with previous practice, this reduction will be reversed if fuel prices increase.
